By joining our existing team, a team who have worked together for over two decades, Torben, by way of his past and present accomplishments is a perfect fit.
Who is Torben?
Torben spent six years as the Global Market Manager for X‑Yachts, overseeing 35 international markets- he remains connected to the yard as a consultant and brand specialist. Many will recognise him from X‑Yachts owner videos and technical walkthroughs. Before this, Torben built a successful business surrounding the sport of Professional Windsurfing. This blend of elite sporting discipline, a deep industry knowledge and experience makes him a valuable addition to the Fortis Marine team on a consultant basis.
What does Torben bring to our team?
Torben will add to the experience and support to both the purchase and ownership phases of the journey for our present and future customers.
His experience combines technical insight, performance optimisation, owner coaching, premium customer‑journey expertise and a strong global industry network adding value to both the purchase and ownership phases of the journey for our customers. Along with guidance and logistics on EU processes, cruising regions and cross‑border ownership — a significant benefit for customers who split their time between the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
