X-46, build number #13, commissioned 2004. Blue hull with white hull stripes and 2.40m L-shaped keel. Standard aluminium mast with furling genoa . Flexiteek on cockpit, sidedecks and coachroof. Below decks she has three cabins, with two heads, modern layout with longitudinal-galley to port, and owner's berth forward.

• Serviced - Skin Fittings/Seacocks 2025, Saildrive seal 2025, Flexiteek 2022 & Main/Jib from 2023.
• Teak interior woodwork still in very good condition.

Exterior Details

Hull

• Navy topsides, with three iconic X-Yachts hull stripes.  Original Gelcoat finish.
• Hull and deck are built in a sandwich construction made up of isolatic polyester resin and biaxial E-glass fabric.
• Solid laminate is used around keel, rudder and through-hull fittings for maximum strength.
• New skin fittings and seacocks fitted 2025.
• Coppercoat applied 2019.

Deck

• Synthetic teak (new in 2018) is laid on the cockpit floor, seats and coamings, toe rail and on the bathing platform.
• Teak cockpit table.
• Canvas sprayhood which can fold away into the integrated deck recess.

Sail Handling

• "German" main sheet system (incorporating 1 x 75 mm ball bearing stir-up block integrated into traveller car, 6 x 60 mm ball bearing blocks, 1 x 60 mm double ball bearing block). 
• The mainsheet is led backwards under deck to each side and appears just forward of the mainsheet self-tailing winches within reach of the helmsman.

Mast & Rigging

• The triple spreader tapered white painted aluminium mast section is specifically designed for X-46.
• The white painted aluminium boom incorporates an outhaul incl. a purchase system inside the boom and two reef lines.
• The vang is a telescopic type with an outer purchase block system.
• The standing rigging is discontinued rod rig with bronze turnbuckles.
• Rod Rigging inspection - no NDT test has been carried out.
• The Profurl head stay and drum is placed below deck

Keel

• The keel consists of an antimony hardened lead bulb with a cast iron fin for high strength and low centre of gravity. The keel is protected with a layer of GRP and faired with polyester filler for improved effectiveness.
• Standard draft 2.4m

Accommodation

Interior

• The yacht’s wooden interior is teak in hand polished satin finish. All carpentry is carried out in accordance with best yacht practice, and the numbers of visible screws have been reduced to a minimum.
• The modern inner liner has integrated dome halogen spotlights and Oceanair units in the hatches.
• The floorboards are made of teak and allow access to the bilge whereas the companionway steps are shaped teak with anti-slip lining.

Galley

• The stainless steel gimballed gas stove has 2 jets and an oven.
• A 3kg gas bottle is stored in the aft cockpit locker.
• Isotherm cr491 fridge.
• Microwave.

Systems

Engine

• A Volvo Penta – D2 – 55/S  55HP diesel engine mounted on rubber suspension with sail-drive installation and 460 mm folding propeller.
• Engine Hours - does not display.
• New sail drive seal 2025
• 200-litre stainless steel fuel tank with VDO analogue tank level gauge, deck fill, separator incl. filter and shut off valve.

Plumbing

• A central bilge is incorporated in the keel structure.
• Eberspacher D5 heating systemwith 5 outlets
• Hot and cold pressurised water system with stainless steel or durable plastic fresh water tank of approx. 380 litre capacity incl. VDO analogue tank level gauge.
• Shower with h/c water i.cockpit.
• An Isotherm hot water tank (80° C) including an immersion heater run with 220 V shore power or is heated by a heat exchanger connected to the engine.

Electrical

• A 12 V DC system runs throughout the yacht.
• 3 x 12 V 120 amps Gel service battery and 1 x 12 V 55 amps engine spiral-cell battery.
• Mastervolt battery charger, and Mass Sine 12/2000w inverter.
