Other

Owners Comments;

"After a happy ten years with Marelisa, three things stand out:

Performance

Following twenty-odd years with a steady but rather weighty Nicholson 35, I wanted a boat that was above all fun to sail and Marelisa has certainly delivered on that. Although we have never actually raced, with her recent top-of-the-range laminated sails, she is a notably fast boat and has regularly outperformed pretty much anything we have encountered out on the water. She has excellent light-airs performance, extremely responsive steering and is easily manoeuvred under power.

Pride of ownership

Marelisa is a handsome boat with a high “row-away factor”, an overall feeling of quality and solidity, and is much-admired wherever she goes.

Easy to live with

Thanks to X-Yachts build quality, I have had no issues with any of the boat’s systems and have needed to do only regular routine maintenance during my ownership. Her sailing qualities are such that the engine has been used only sparingly and has been 100% reliable.

This is a very reluctant sale, but age has now caught up with me and it’s time to downsize and do some pottering in the local Cornish rivers.”
