From Southampton to Hamble: Looking Ahead to October

River Hamble Boat Show

From Southampton Boat Show highlights to October Sessions in Hamble

After a busy September at Southampton International Boat Show, the past week has been spent catching up on conversations and enquiries from the show. It has also given us a chance to reflect on what stood out and, more importantly, what comes next.

With the Xc 47 on the water, some of our favourite moments were spending time aboard, sitting in the cockpit with owners and visitors, talking about sailing plans and what they hope to do or where they hope to go next.

The comments about the Xc 47 were incredibly positive. Alongside performance, it was the well thought out details that stood out, from generous storage to easy handling with a small crew and features that make life easier on the water.

That same theme carried across to our Service Stand too. Having the FurlerBoom demonstration unit on display gave visitors a chance to see it up close and ask questions specific to their own yacht.

There were also plenty of conversations around servicing, winterisation and future upgrades, many of which we have been following up since returning to Hamble.

More time in Hamble this October

Boat shows are a great way to get an initial feel for a yacht, but there is a lot to take in. That’s why, throughout this month, our October Sessions will give you more time to take a closer look, ask questions and continue those conversations at a more relaxed pace.

October Sessions at Hamble Point Marina run from 1st–31st October, with private appointments to discuss what might be of interest to you.

Whether you met us in Southampton and would like to pick up where we left off, or didn't make it to the show this year, we'd be very happy to see you in Hamble.
