Eagle 44

A Modern Classic with Racing Heritage

The Eagle 44 brings together the romance of classic yacht design with the clean, confident feel of modern Dutch craftsmanship. Developed in close cooperation with Dykstra Naval Architects and inspired by the legendary racing Js of the 1930s, she carries a distinctive silhouette that feels both timeless and contemporary. Modern materials and a refined keel shape give her a purposeful, responsive character on the water while preserving the elegance that defines the Eagle family..

Under sail the Eagle 44 feels beautifully balanced. Her vacuum infused epoxy laminate hull, modern keel and rudder configuration and powerful rig create a yacht that moves with quiet authority. She responds instantly yet remains composed, making every outing — from a gentle afternoon cruise to a more spirited coastal run — feel smooth, confident and deeply rewarding.

Life on Deck — Where Ease Meets Pure Sailing Pleasure

The Eagle 44 is designed around the simple joy of being on the water. From the helm, the stainless steel wheel with its mahogany rim offers a reassuring sense of control whether under sail or using the Volvo sail drive. Winches sit within easy reach of the helmsman which makes single handed sailing feel natural and unhurried. Long cockpit benches and deep cushions create a welcoming space where up to eight guests can relax, unwind and enjoy the moment.

The Selden mast features an in mast car system that makes hoisting the mainsail effortless while the under deck jib furler is controlled directly from the helm. The result is a yacht that feels lively without ever becoming demanding, allowing you to focus on the experience rather than the effort.

Leisure is woven into every detail. The expansive cockpit includes a beautifully crafted mahogany table with a sink and bar box so a cold drink is always close at hand. Four generous lockers provide ample storage for equipment and personal items. Whether you’re sunbathing, dining or simply taking in the views the Eagle 44 offers a setting that feels open, elegant and effortlessly enjoyable.
